Education Chat Reflection

I have been using Math Chat on my tweetdeck. I have not been on a chat room during the week, however I am always looking at my tweetdeck and have it set to where I receive a quick message if someone uses the math chat hashtag. Even though I have not been in an educational chat room, I was able to use it other ways. At times, I would throw out a question using the #mathchat hashtag. I have asked questions about a good lesson plan regarding my TPA 3 lesson plan because I could not think of a creative lesson plan for my TPA. It was awesome to see multiple people around the world tweeting back to me giving me different links to AMAZING resources about the given content. I of course DIIGO'ed (if that is even a word) the websites because I know that these websites will be very useful in the future of my education teaching. My PLN is growing consistently because I am able to utilize the power of a hashtag and I know I can continually be learning just by a simple tweet! I remember one colleague in the same field who did a math chat and posted a comment about how do you know if students are learning? I was able to tweet back to her giving my comment about how I know if students are learning!
